Kinloch Community Association AGM

We are holding this year’s AGM on Sunday 3rd November 2024 at 10 am. This meeting will be held at the Kinloch Community Hall.

This email requests nominations for the Association’s Executive Committee for 2024/2025.

Notice is now given that we are calling for nomination from financial members to serve on the KCA Executive Committee for the 2024/25 year.

Under our constitution, we have moved to elect positions for a three-year term.

In 2024/2025 the following will be up for election:

  • Four committee members

Victoria Deaker and Murray Quelch were co-opted as committee members during the year due to the resignation of Basil and Deb Borlase. 

They will both stand this year and there are 2 more positions to fill. 

Two of our current committee members Karen Burling and Martyn Coe are retiring from the KCA Executive Committee after many years of service. We cannot thank them enough for the time, assistance and advice they have given to the KCA over the years, their contributions have been very beneficial for the Kinloch community and we sincerely thank them both.

Download the nomination form below. Please make yourself aware of rule 25 of the new constitution which provides for the qualifications for officers before certifying that you are not disqualified from holding office. 

Please note that nominations close and all nomination forms must be returned to the Returning Officers at kinlochcommunity@gmail.com no later than 5 pm on Friday 27th September 2024.

If a vote is necessary, voting papers will be sent to financial members by 7th October 2024.
